Nonetheless, it's a strong series and better than many if not most. <br /><br />I didn't really think about it at the time, but you're right about the lack of ambiguity in the bad guy. Thanks. This series gives such an interesting portrayal of an era and as the series goes on, I like the way Winspear weaves those changes into the novels.
