I am a lawyer in Melfort, Saskatchewan, Canada who enjoys reading, especially mysteries. Since 2000 I have been writing personal book reviews. This blog includes my reviews, information on and interviews with authors and descriptions of mystery bookstores I have visited. I strive to review all Saskatchewan mysteries. Other Canadian mysteries are listed under the Rest of Canada. As a lawyer I am always interested in legal mysteries. I have a separate page for legal mysteries. Occasionally my reviews of legal mysteries comment on the legal reality of the mystery. You can follow the progression of my favourite authors with up to 15 reviews. Each year I select my favourites in "Bill's Best of ----". As well as current reviews I am posting reviews from 2000 to 2011. Mike and Kaja's Wedding

Sharon and I have just returned from Calgary. We attended the wedding of our son, Michael, and his fiancée, Kaja. They were married on a hot sunny summer morning at her parents acreage. It was wonderful. We are proud to have another daughter-in-law. They sent us the two photos below. I thought they looked great and wanted to share them on the blog. I am happy they agreed.





For Moira and other interested readers a bit of information on Kaja's belt and Michael's shoes.

 Kaja's belt was taken from the hem of a sari. Kaja lived in India for a period of time

 Mike's shoes are red and black Magnanni Vada Brogued Whole Cut Shoes as best seen on the photo below.

    How exciting, Bill. They look so young and happy. Lovely pictures. I did wonder about the belt on her dress, a very nice touch.

    Oh that's lovely Bill, thank you for sharing such happy family news.
    And yes, I was intrigued by the clothes details! Both belt (though I might have called it a sash...) and shoes were unusual and beautiful.
